Privacy Policy

SmartCollect ("we", "us") is operated by Tudi Apps. This policy explains what data the SmartCollect mobile app and API collect, why, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

Account data: your name, email address and password (stored hashed). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider.
Content you save: links you save or share into the app, titles, notes, tags, custom field values, collections and photos you upload.
AI chat: messages you send to the in-app assistant and its replies.
Collaboration: the email addresses of people you invite to a collection.
Device data: a push notification token so we can notify you (for example when an item has been analyzed).
Technical data: server logs with IP address and request details, kept for security and debugging.

We do not collect your precise device location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we do not sell your data.

How we use data

To provide the app: store and organize your collections, sync them across devices and share them with people you invite.
To run AI features: page content of links you save and your chat messages are processed to extract details (such as title, price or address) and to answer your questions about your collections.
To send notifications you can turn off in your device settings.
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

Service providers

We use these processors to run SmartCollect. They only receive the data needed for their task:

Google Gemini API (Google LLC) — AI analysis of saved links and chat.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC) — push notifications.
Cloudflare R2 (Cloudflare, Inc.) — storage of photos you upload.
Mapbox (Mapbox, Inc.) — map tiles when you open a map view.
Hetzner Online GmbH — server hosting in the European Union (Finland).

Sharing

Collections are private by default. If you share a collection or invite collaborators, they can see its contents according to the permission you choose.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account) or by following the steps on our account deletion page. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, collections, items, photos, chat history and device tokens. Backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Photos are stored in a private bucket and are only served through short-lived signed links.

Children

SmartCollect is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data. Contact us at support@tudiapps.com.

We will update this page when the policy changes and adjust the date above.
